As AI absorbs the predictable, repeatable, rule-based parts of work, the remaining human contribution becomes more distinctly human — more creative, more relational, more contextual. Organisations that automate well don't need fewer people — they need better ones, doing different things. Those who focus only on cost reduction miss the real prize: an organisation that creates exponentially more value with the same or smaller teams.
