Process orders automatically with AI that reads and acts.

AI reads orders from email, PDF and customer portals and processes them directly in your ERP — whether that is Exact Online, AFAS, Business Central or SAP. From 25 minutes to less than 2 minutes per order.

What is automated order processing?

In logistics, orders arrive through dozens of channels: email, PDF attachments, customer portals, EDI and phone. Manually re-keying this data into your ERP system takes an average of 25 minutes per order and leads to errors. With 10,000 orders per year, that amounts to €180,000+ in processing costs.

AI-driven order processing solves this by automatically reading documents, extracting relevant fields (order numbers, items, quantities, delivery addresses) and booking them directly into your ERP — whether you work with Exact Online, AFAS, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or SAP.

How does it work?

The solution combines document recognition with AI to extract order data from unstructured documents. Where traditional OCR fails with varying formats, AI understands context: it recognises that 'stuks', 'pcs' and 'pieces' mean the same thing, and automatically matches item descriptions against your ERP master data.

Through the API of your ERP system, processed orders are created directly as sales orders. In Exact Online via the REST API, in AFAS via the App Connector, in Business Central via OData and in SAP via IDoc or OData services. In ambiguous cases, the order is flagged for human review — so you retain 100% control while 70–85% is fully automated.

Direct connection to your ERP

The difference from traditional automation is that we need no intermediate layers or middleware. The AI layer communicates directly with your ERP via the official APIs. That means orders are created in the same structure and with the same validation rules as when a colleague enters them manually.

Working with Exact Online? AI books directly via the REST API, including the correct general ledger accounts and VAT codes. In AFAS, orders are processed via UpdateConnectors. Business Central users benefit from the Power Platform integration, and with SAP we connect via OData or IDocs — including custom fields and company-specific logic.

What does it deliver?

Logistics companies that implement AI order processing reduce processing time from 25 minutes to fewer than 2 minutes per order. The error margin drops from 1–3% to below 0.5%. For a company with 800 weekly orders that means 60 hours saved per week — 1.5 FTEs that can focus on customer relationships instead of data entry.

The investment in an AI integration layer is a fraction of an ERP migration and delivers results faster: the first automation typically goes live within 4 weeks. Payback period is between 3 and 6 months.
